before seen -- at least on this website -- photos of the official Peshawar Air
Station Base closing ceremony.
Bob advised the following:
These were all taken Jan 7, 1970, before we took 2 busses to the airport,
left the keys in them, got on a C-141 and hauled ass out. Pilot after
taking off did a flyover, and the crew chief told Col Hezlep that this was
the first flight he had had with a full bar set up that didn't have a flag
officer on board.
